In November 2018, my mum and I adopted a charming little calico cat, named Peach, from your shelter. She was a sociable little sweetheart, and dazzled us from the very beginning,
Over the next year, and onward, Peach has uplifted and illuminated by life in ways that leave me without words. Everyone who knows me, says that Peach complements my personality perfectly, as though she was heaven-sent. We have the same mannerisms, and same disposition, and that makes her perfectly suited for me.
Peach has been incredibly well behaved, and is remarkably intelligent for an animal. She’s quite “talkative,” and enjoys watching movies with me, curled up on the couch, on her favourite blanket.
In more ways than I can count, Peach has seen me through both the best of times, and the most despairing times, and having her as a companion, at my side, coming home to her at the end of the day, it always gives me something to look forward to.
I understand that Peach was rescued as a stray from the streets, likely as a runaway from her former home, and it pains me to think that she had left a loving family behind, as well as thinking of the perils she likely encountered on the streets, but it simply makes me love her all the more.
I know you may not read this, but I am writing this to tell you that I am grateful, from the bottom of my heart, for rescuing Peach from the streets and for allowing her into my life. She is a ray of sunshine that cannot be dimmed, and she will always, always be loved.
Yours sincerely,
